DESCRIPTION

DYNA® DYNALASTIC 5000 is a non-flammable high performance second-generation latex thin-set mortar additive for increased bond strength, impact resistance, freeze / thaw resistance and improved vibration resistance. It is designed to be mixed with DYNABOND 400 or DYNAFLOR 300 or any other thin-set mortar. It is for setting all types of ceramic tiles, porcelains, glass and glass mosaics, pavers, existing brick, granite, marble and slate. It can be used for interior or exterior applications. It is designed to be used for floors, walls, ceilings and countertops.

USES

It is designed for use with all types of glazed and unglazed ceramic tiles, mosaics, pavers,
marble, granite and slate. It can be used for floor and wall installation. It can be used for
industrial, commercial and residential purposes.
Can be used on ghypsum wallboard, cement or gypsum plaster, cement backerboard, exterior grade plywood on interior surfaces only, smooth concrete, and existing ceramic tiles, terrazzo, VAT/VCT, old cut-back adhesive and plastic laminate.

Meets and exceeds the standards:
- ANSI 118.4
- ANSI 118.11
- ANSI 118.15

LIMITATIONS

- Do not use over presswood, particle board, masonite or any other similar unstable substrate.
- Do not use at temperatures below 5°C (40°F) or above 40°C (104°F).
- Do not use in environments where high chemical resistance is required.
- Use DYNAPOXY 3000 in a high chemical environment.

DIRECTIONS

A. SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure that the substrate is structurally sound, solid, well-fastened, dry, clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, etc.

B. APPLICATION

DYNALASTIC 5000 is ready to use, there is no mixing involved. Simply open the container and use DYNALASTIC 5000 in place of gauging water.
Follow the instructions of the thin-set mortar used.

EXPANSION AND CONTROL JOINTS

Provide expansion and control joints where necessary or where specified.

DYNA® DYNALASTIC 5000 is available in:
- 7.5 L (2 U.S. Gallon)
- 18.9 L (5 U.S. Gallons)

CLEANING

Clean your tools immediately after use. Wash your hands with soap and water.

SAFETY WARNINGS

CAUTION
Protect hands with gloves. If ingested do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician immediately. If splashed in eyes, rinse for 15 minutes with cold clean water and seed medical attention immediately.

Before using the user shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and the user will assume all risks and liabilities that may arise in connection therewith. DYNA’s liability is expressly limited to the replacement of defective goods. Any claim shall be deemed waived unless the claim is made in writing to DYNA within 15 days
from the date it was, or reasonably should have been,
discovered that the product was defective.

This premium quality product was designed to satisfy the user. If you are not satisfied after Surface Testing on a small area, please contact our technical service department immediately.
NO WARRANTIES expressed or implied are offered by DYNA. The Manufacturer’s liability is limited to the replacement of products proven defective.
